Dreame launches Lightstrip P11 in Europe, bringing a high-power smart light strip with multi-zone control and Matter support to a category dominated by established rivals.
This release follows previous inclusion in the Connectivity Standards Alliance database and public availability at IFA 2025 and CES 2026, indicating a planned rollout rather than a surprise launch.
Lightstrip P11 has been introduced to the market as a comparable replacement for premium lightstrips, with value increasingly determined by brightness, color segmentation, and platform compatibility rather than basic smart controls.
Dreame is positioning its products for brighter use cases, such as accent walls and under-cabinet lighting, where higher lumen output can reduce the need for multiple strips.
Bright output with segmented lighting control
Lightstrip P11 uses RGBICWW LEDs with 108 beads per meter, allowing both color illumination and adjustable white output across multiple independently controlled segments.
Dreame claims up to 1,800 lumens of brightness per six LED segments, a number that puts the strip ahead of many competing 5 meter kits in terms of overall light output.
Multi-zone control allows different colors or white to be displayed simultaneously along the strip, supporting gradient effects and more precise ambient lighting layouts.
This strip includes over 70 preset lighting effects, including several music-synced modes designed to react to audio in real-time.
This feature set reflects a broader trend toward dynamic, entertainment-focused lighting, rather than the static color scenes traditionally associated with smart lightstrips.
Smart home support and availability
Users can control Lightstrip P11 through the Dreamhome app or via voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, covering most mainstream smart home settings.
Matter support further extends compatibility, allowing integration with a wide range of smart home platforms without relying on brand-specific bridges.
An integrated 3M adhesive backing secures the strip during installation and allows users to cut the strip from the original 5 meter length to fit furniture, shelving or architectural features.
Lightstrip P11 is currently available through Dreame’s online store in several European markets, including Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands.
The price is set at 99 euros, matching the list price of Philips Hue’s 5 meter Flux strip, while offering a higher brightness rating of 1,800 lumens compared to Hue’s 1,200 lumens.
This launch gives buyers new options in the premium lightstrip segment, especially setups that prioritize brightness and smart home cross-platform compatibility.
