Apple TV releases Anya Taylor-Joy’s first major series since ‘The Queen’s Gambit’

Apple TV is hosting a big media event today and just announced the highly anticipated series “Lucky,” starring Anya Taylor-Joy in her first major show. the queen’s gambit.

Lucky, based on the hit novel, is coming to Apple TV this summer

One of Apple TV’s most successful movies to date is The Gorge, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller.

Teller will return to Apple TV with another movie, Eternity, which will be released next week.

Meanwhile, Anya Taylor-Joy is set to star in the upcoming limited series Lucky, which Apple just announced.

“Lucky” premieres on Apple TV Wednesday, July 15th The first two episodes are now available and will be released weekly thereafter until August 19th.

The series is based on Marissa Stapley’s best-selling novel. This will be star Anya Taylor-Joy’s first major role on TV since her breakout role on the Netflix drama. the queen’s gambit. Other performers include Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, and more.

Lucky was co-written by Jonathan Tropper and Kathy Pappas. Tropper is the showrunner on another Apple TV hit, Your Friends & Neighbors, which released a trailer for season 2 yesterday and is set to pick up season 3.
