Apple TV will kick off the new year with a solid lineup of TV shows in January, but the streamer’s next movie, “Eternity,” starring Elizabeth Olsen, is set to be released in February. Here are the details:
Eternity will be available to Apple TV subscribers soon, likely in mid-February
Eternity is an A24 movie that was released in theaters around Thanksgiving in late November.
There was no sign of Apple’s support during the theatrical marketing, so the company’s involvement was completely unmonitored. But recently, Eternity was featured in a preview of its big upcoming premiere on Apple TV.
Apple TV has not yet announced an official release date other than “Winter 2026,” but it is expected to premiere in mid-February, around Valentine’s Day.
Eternity received critical acclaim from critics and viewers alike, praising the trio of Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner as the powerful central characters of the high-concept romantic comedy.
Here’s the official plot summary and trailer:
In the afterlife, where souls have a week to decide where they will spend eternity, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) is forced to make an impossible choice between the man she spent her life with (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young and has been waiting for her for decades.
