This teardown-style case lets you peek inside your iPhone 17

I’ve been using Spigen cases for years. They make some of the most eye-catching cases in the game, including the retro-style C1 line and MagFit line, which aim to mimic the look of the original G4 iMac. This year, they decided to go all out and roll out the Zero:One line, which gives you the feel of a disassembled iPhone without actually having to modify the iPhone. This allows you to see what the inside of your iPhone looks like when you open it. As a tech guy, I really like this. Here’s what you need to know:

The Spigen Ultra Hybrid Zero:One is designed for people who like to see what’s inside. Inspired by iPhone teardown art, this case lets you see what happens when you remove the iPhone 17’s back plate. Here are some of the main features you should know about.

  • Made of hybrid PC + TPU, it has a rigid section and a more flexible section.
  • Fully covered camera bump with precise cutouts protects from debris and scratches.
  • Camera control buttons are covered with a highly responsive TPU layer and provide tactile feedback
  • Enhances the strength of MagSafe magnets using Magfit technology

What I really like about these cases is that they’re lightweight, yet you get everything you want in a protective case, add a camera control cover, and you get this really unique design. It comes in black and white and retails for $19.99 on Amazon.

Another great thing about Spigen style is that they make accessories to match. Their Zero:One line is no exception. They introduced a companion, the MagSafe wallet. If you have used the C1 version, you will be familiar with this version. It is rated to hold up to 3 cards, but I was able to easily fit 4 or even 5 cards in it. The wallet attaches securely to the back of your phone using MagSage, giving you quick access to your cards without the bulk of traditional wallets. Here are some features you can expect.

  • Strong built-in magnets ensure secure attachment to MagSafe-enabled iPhones.
  • Holds 2-4 cards and slides out for easy access
  • Slim, minimalist design complements Spigen’s MagSafe case

The last thing I like about this wallet is that it is a sturdy wallet. As such, it hardly stretches or loosens over time, and there’s a spring mechanism inside that keeps the card in place, so it won’t somehow fall out. Zero:One Magsafe Wallet is available on Amazon for $24.99

final thoughts

So if you’re looking for a new case and MagSafe wallet combination, or just want to try something new, we recommend giving these a try. Both can be purchased for less than $45. Apple cases alone cost over $60, so this is a great deal. Please let me know what you think about this design. Is this what you use? Let’s discuss below.
