Apple talks about M5 iPad Pro, hardware upgrades, and who it’s for in video interview

iPad Pro expert and all-around good guy Stephen Robles talks about the all-new M5 model in a great interview with several Apple insiders.

Apple’s latest iPad Pro redesign took place last year and made the M4 models, especially the 13-inch model, incredibly thin. Today, the M5 upgrade arrives as new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models officially hit store shelves and reach customers. In addition to increased processing power, the M5 iPad Pro series includes many other improvements, including faster charging and better cellular connectivity.

In a video interview, Stephen Robles talks about that and more with Ted Merendino and Ty Jordan from Apple’s iPad team. There’s also a surprise cameo from 9to5Mac’s own iPad-powered YouTuber, Fernando Silva. By the end of the video, Apple’s message about who the iPad Pro is for versus other iPad models becomes clear.

The 11-inch iPad Pro (M5) and 13-inch iPad Pro (M5) are both available today.
