EcoFlow has introduced its “most powerful” whole-home battery system ever. It’s called Delta Pro Ultra X, and it’s designed to give you serious backup without the usual hassle. Installation can be scheduled in as little as seven days, allowing you to achieve greater power without the need for a multi-month project.
According to the press release, the continuous output is rated at 12kW and can be expanded to 36kW by connecting three inverters in parallel. Efficiency is said to be up to 97%, which aims to squeeze more available energy out of each charge. EcoFlow says this allowance covers high-demand appliances without soft starters, such as water heaters and EV chargers.
Storage starts at 12kWh and expands to 180kWh. In EcoFlow terminology, this can cover up to a month’s worth of essentials, but it also depends on how you use your power. The idea is to keep the essentials on and trim the rest.
The Smart Home Panel 3 is a hub, providing 200 amps of service on up to 32 controllable circuits. You can monitor and adjust each within the app to keep important loads running and cut out unnecessary ones. According to EcoFlow, smarter routing can increase critical execution time by up to 42%.
It also has a built-in timer, so energy-demanding chores are done during the day and taper off at night. AI time-of-use mode automatically charges during off-peak hours and discharges during peak hours based on local rates and forecasts. The company claims that heavy users can save up to $6,000 a year.
Solar power support has an input of up to 10kW for faster replenishment. Under good conditions, two battery packs can reportedly be charged to 80% in about an hour. This ties the system neatly into your existing PV setup.
A wide range of compatibility is maintained here, including previous generation Delta Pro Ultra batteries, third-party generators, solar panels, and EV chargers. Modular quick-clip design allows owners to add capacity and accessories without extensive rewiring later. It is designed to be flexible and adaptable to changing family needs.
EcoFlow also highlights DIY garden solar to get around rooftop restrictions. Portable panels allow you to easily install the unit in areas with airflow or slightly elevated locations. If you follow the schedule, installation can be completed in one day.
In the United States, a network of more than 425 certified installers supports this effort. EcoFlow says this approach can save up to 80% in time and costs compared to traditional whole-home systems. This is aimed at speed without sacrificing coverage.
Delta Pro Ultra X is available now from EcoFlow’s website. Through December 31st, you can purchase the inverter and 2 batteries for $7,999, the Smart Home Panel 3 for $2,999, or the inverter, Smart Home Panel 3, and 2 batteries bundle for $10,899. This is a complete package, from ordering to installation, all done in one go.
