Featuring exclusive and unrestricted access to Martin Scorsese’s private archives, this docuseries is anchored by extensive conversations with the filmmaker himself and never-before-seen interviews with friends, family, and creative collaborators, including Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, Robbie Robertson, Thelma Schoonmaker, Steven Spielberg, and Sharon Stone. Jodie Foster, Paul Schrader, Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett, Jay Cox, Rodrigo Prieto, his children, his wife Helen Morris, and close childhood friends. Mr. Scorsese, directed by acclaimed Rebecca Miller, examines how Scorsese’s own colorful life experiences influenced his artistic vision, as each film he made stunned the world with its originality. This documentary explores the themes that have fascinated Scorsese and influenced his work, starting with his student films at New York University and continuing to the present day.
