Apple TV+ has been the strongest year ever, but it looks like it will continue this fall thanks to a packed lineup of new shows and films. These next four weeks offer that great flavour and a big new premier drops every week.
September 17th: Morning Show
Morning Show Season 4 somehow packs a cast that is even more star-studded than the previous season. It also offers a dark story that addresses the impact AI has on the news.
Here’s an overview of the Apple season:
“Morning Show” Season 4 will begin in spring 2024, almost two years after the season 3 event. With the completion of the UBA-NBN merger, the newsroom must tackle new responsibilities, hidden motives, and the elusive nature of truth in a biased America. Who can you trust in a world where deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups? And how do you know what’s actually real?
September 24th and 26th: Slowly horses and savant
Slow Horse Season 5 brings Jackson Lamb and his misfit MI5 operatives a miscellaneous crew back together again for what appears to be another great season.
Gary Oldman has led the same great ensemble from past seasons and joined the go-around by Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed. Without a doubt, Apple TV+, a consistent high-bar of excellence affirmation of slow horses, has already updated the show for two more seasons.
Here’s what you’ll be looking forward to from season 5:
In season 5 of “Slow Horse,” everyone is suspicious when resident tech geek clodeho has a charming new girlfriend, but as more and more strange events occur around town, they fall into a slow horse and decide how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of spying, the London rules – cover your back – always apply.
Savant follows two days after a slow horse, offering viewers a different kind of crime thriller.
This limited series is based on 2019 cosmopolitan The storyline titled “Is it possible to stop mass shootings?” Jessica Chastain stars as the nominal “savant” who essentially catfishes potential domestic terrorists before acting.
Here’s a summary of the Apple series:
The tense and thrilling series follows a secret agent known as “Savant” (Chastain), and infiltrates online hate groups to stop the country’s militants before she acts. The cast of “The Savant” is led by Nnamdi Asomugha, Cole Doman, Jordana Spiro, Trinity Lee Shirley, Toussaint Francois Battiste and Guest Star Pablo Schreiber.
October 3rd: Lost Bus
Lost Bus is one movie on this list. Matthew McConaughey and American Ferrera appear to be very similar to the fierce, high stakes and award nominees in this Paul Greengrass-directed film.
Here’s the Apple summary:
Inspired by the real-life event from director Paul Greengrass, “The Lost Bus” is one of America’s most deadly wildfires as a ward school bus driver (Matthew McConaughey) and the battle of a dedicated school teacher (Ferrera of America) to save 22 children from the horrifying Inferno.
October 10th: The last frontier
The final frontier is a new Apple TV+ crime thriller that puts dozens of violent prisoners in rural Alaska in a relaxed state after the plane crashes.
Here’s a summary of the Apple series:
“The Last Frontier” follows Frank Remnick (Clark), the only US former S., in charge of Alaska’s quiet and sturdy Valens. Remnick’s jurisdiction is upside down when prison transports crash in the far wilderness and set up dozens of violent prisoners. He is tasked with protecting the town he has vowed to be safe, and he begins to suspect that the crash fall was not an accident, but the first step in a skilled plan with widespread and devastating significance.
