It is rumoured that Apple is preparing a new HomePod Mini that can arrive in time for the 2025 holiday shopping season.
Mark Garman of Bloomberg reports that Apple is working on a HomePod Mini V2, which could arrive soon in the fall of 2025.
Garman says the new models could arrive with a refreshing color and improved sound. It’s all going well and good, but it’s not the only new HomePod model that Apple is rumoured to be working on.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also suggests that Apple is working on a HomePod with a display. According to Kuo, this model may not arrive until WWDC 2025 or later. Kuo says the delay is due to software development issues.
The original HomePod Mini arrived in November 2020, so considering the second generation HomePod that arrived in January 2023, the update is quite delayed.

Kuo previously predicted that the HomePod Mini 2 would arrive in the second half of 2024, but that didn’t happen. But that seems to be a new model now approaching.
The new HomePod Mini is likely to support Wi-Fi 6E and may have a stronger A18 chip, which will improve its functionality and SIRI integration.
Current colors for HomePod Mini include blue, yellow, midnight, orange and white. Hopefully there are more colors to choose from next time.
Audio quality is likely to improve, and support for high resolution lossless playback is expected. We are also looking forward to some new features, such as gesture recognition and multi-touch display.
The price of the HomePod Mini 2 is likely to remain competitive, with the rumored price being around $99. A home pod with a screen is more expensive and costs Rumouredh $399.
The HomePod Mini 2 is becoming a rather important update to Apple’s Smart Speaker Range.
