Apple TV+: Vera Farmiga will be taking part in a basketball-themed comedy co-produced by LeBron James
Apple Studios is developing an untitled film based on the weekend rebels. This is a 2023 German comedy drama about a father and his autistic son looking for his favorite Premier League club. Details are here.

As reported by deadlineMark Wahlberg (deceased, Boogie’s Night) is already obsessed with the project, and now he is joined by Bella Farmiga (The Conjour, Bates Motel).
deadlineAlso, the weekend rebels consider a connection with LeBron James’ Spring Hill production company, while father and son go to see all the soccer teams to choose their favorite club.
The untitled project marks Wahlberg’s second collaboration with Apple, following the 2023 comedy The Family Plan, which is getting a sequel to 2026.
Interestingly, it’s another Apple TV+ sports-themed production, including football-themed Ted Lasso, golf-themed sticks, race-themed F1: Movies, Baseball-themed Battle for Glory: 2024 World Series.
Apple also produces comedies based on Pickebal and streams live MLS and MLB matches.
Apple TV+ is available for $12.99 a month, and TV shows and movies such as Studios, Morning Shows, Shrinks and Silos have become a hit.
