Apple TV+ will premiere its first new Snoopy musical special in 37 years

As part of its exclusive agreement with Peanuts, Apple TV+ is premiering Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical. This is something special about the latest original Snoopy airing on the platform, and it stands out as it is a musical full of songs. It was more than 37 years ago that Peanuts last premiered a new musical episode.

The new special celebrates summer camp. Charlie Brown has been trying to make it as special as possible at camp last year. Meanwhile, Snoopy and Woodstock find treasure maps that guide you on your adventure.

The launch of the new musical special is part of celebrating Charlie Brown’s 75th anniversary. The music of this musical is well staged as we watch Peanuts gags try to save camp by holding their own concerts.

And there’s a 40 minute runtime and there’s a lot of new music. Original songs include “When We Right,” “Look Up, Charlie Brown,” “Leave It Better,” “Best Time,” and “A Like Clace.” You can find playlists of all new songs on Apple Music.

The agreement with Apple’s producer Wildbrain has become an exclusive streaming home for all peanuts involved.

You can watch the entire library of Snoopy content using your Apple TV+ subscription, including classic specials, new series, original specials, and documentaries.

Apple is still developing new feature-length Snoopy movies. Snoopy heads out on an adventure in a big city, but has no release date yet.
