It was first announced at Computex 2024 last summer, and then re-released at CES 2025 earlier this year. ASUS finally gave us the release timeline, price and feature information for the new 6K 32-inch ProART display. According to Asus, it will be available in late August.
If you want a 6K 32-inch display for your Mac, there are not many options available except Apple’s $4,999 Pro Display XDR. It’s also available from Dell for $2999. LG also teased the 6K 32-inch product at CES, but there is no further information at this time.
This new product from ASUS is available for just $1,299. This is the most affordable option on a 32-inch 6K display. Obviously there’s a cheaper 32-inch 4K display, but if you want that crisp 218PPI for retinal scaling on a 32-inch panel macOS, then you’ll need a 6K display.
It has many great features, including color accuracy of Delta E <2, coverage of 98% of the DCI-P3 color range, and peak brightness of 600 nits. It comes with an anti-glare display, so if you're a fan of a glossy monitor, this is not the right choice.
The display comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one Displayport 1.4, one USB-C for 1 HDMI 2.1, one USB-C for 1 USB-C, and a USB hub with another USB-C port and two USB-A ports. It also offers headphone jacks and built-in speakers.
The Thunderbolt port allows you to get 96W pass-through charging on a supported USB-C laptop.
You can get a closer look directly from Asus, but this sounds like a very great product when the August Roll rolls.
