We are currently in 2025 and there are so many Magsafe battery packs out there. Some are multifunctional, some have a software touch, some can charge your phone quickly, others have differentiators that help you decide everything. But sometimes, you just want a beautifully-looking Magsaf battery pack that looks slim, refined, stylish, while making all the major things great. That’s exactly what Pitaka can do with the new Aramid Fiber Magnetic Power Bank. This is what you need to know.
Check out our hands-on video and see how the battery pack works below.
First impression
If you’ve used Pitaka products, you’ll find that they’re known for making ultra slim accessories, while still being stiff and protective. They accomplish this using Aramid Fiber Weave as the basis for most (if not all) accessories. I have been using their cases since the iPhone X and have always loved what they have to offer. The classic iPhone case is a great blend that is not only thin and lightweight but also protective, and you can add Magsaf magnets to it to add extra magnetic strength.
Their new Magsafe battery pack follows the same design language. They are wrapped in Pitaka Signature Aramid Fibers and perfectly match the case. The texture is soft, but still grippy, with the rose gold aluminum trim giving the right amount of contrast. As for the packaging, it was very minimal and only brought the battery pack itself.
specification
Here are some specifications you need to know
- 5,000mAh capacity
- QI2 Certification: Supports 15W wireless charging
- 20W USB-C input and output
- Inner LED indicator
- Thickness: 0.88cm, weighing less than 120g
The specs are great, but most people want to know how much their iPhone should charge.

Real-world use
As mentioned above, this has a 5,000 mAh battery, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max is a 4685 mAh battery. I used 16 Pro Max, ran iOS 26 beta 1, went from 20% to 90% before the battery died. Many factors come into this, such as the fact that I use beta software, because it’s wireless charging, how much I lose power, how much I was using while charging. Therefore, mileage can vary in terms of how much battery you will get from now on. However, as to how thin, light and portable the power bank is, I am very pleased with the fact that I got 70% extra battery with this battery pack.
Then you have a magnet, it’s insanely strong. This is a combination of the battery and case magnets, with a selection of materials for the inside of the battery. This battery is very slippery and gives you confidence that it just doesn’t fall off. I also liked that it all comes in the same colour and design as the case, so it’s easy to match.
Pricing, availability, final take
Currently, this is available on both the Pitaka website and on Amazon. The Pitaka website sells for $59 and comes in six different color options. At the same time, Amazon only uses one color for $69. Pitaka also has an insane deal, selling cases with original coloured woven designs for $11.99 with free shipping (these cases were $90!). These cases are the same as the new cases and have a different design.
So if you want a nonsense Magsuff battery pack that looks good, slim and stays cool to the touch, then this should be considered. I’m just a fan of the overall look and packaging they’re offering.
